SHORT FILMS COMPETITION

Fourteen new French short films will compete for this year’s 2026 TAFFF Awards. This exclusive selection of French shorts underlines the creativity of French production and spotlights new talent in Hollywood. Six films are eligible for a nomination to the 2027 Oscars! Which film will succeed THE LIFELINE (2025 TAFFF Short Film Award Winner)?

The competition will take place in two parts, on mornings fromThursday, November 5 through Sunday, November 8. Each part will be screened three times. Free admission, on a first-come-first-served basis. You may vote for the 2026 Audience Short Film Award if you see the entire program (both parts).

According to connoisseurs, attending the Free-access Short Film Competition is still the most thrilling way to start your day at the festival!
